Despite being born with severe food allergies, Elizabeth went to culinary school–the Culinary Institute of America, actually–to learn how to cook delicious food for people, like her, who live on a restricted diets.

She’s the author of two cookbooks: Easy Gluten-Free Baking
and How to Cook Gluten-Free: Over 150 Recipes That Really Work and a beloved cooking teacher and speaker.

Elizabeth writes the Gluten-Free Tuesday column for SeriousEats.com and runs Cook Bliss’ sister site, GlutenFreeBaking.com
